An event without sound amplification? Discover the silent workshop.
Not sure what a silent workshop is? Participants follow the presentation through their headsets. This allows you to host multiple workshops in a single space without them interfering with one another.
D-Dream implemented this technology at Actiris Connect 2017, commissioned by The Oval Office. We also handled lighting, sound, projection, and recording in the main auditorium.

Dries Mahieu, account manager at The Oval Office: “For Actiris, the Brussels employment agency, we have been coordinating all internal communication initiatives and events for the past three years. This includes the annual staff gathering: Actiris Connect. On October 19, 2017, 1,200 employees gathered at Hall 10 and the adjacent Auditorium 2000 at Brussels Expo to stay abreast of changes in society and within their own organization.”

“The people at Actiris had a choice between two programs: six silent workshops or poster sessions and speed dates with colleagues. We brought in D-Dream to handle the audiovisual support. They set up the booths for the six workshops, the screens, the sound system, and 700 headsets. Each booth was illuminated in a different color, making it easy for participants to find their preferred workshop. D-Dream also handled the ambient lighting at the reception area and managed all technical operations in Auditorium 2000, where the plenary sessions took place. That included lighting, sound, projection, and live recording.
