Lights of Hope was a large-scale immersive experience in which dance, music and video mapping came together to tall an emotionally and visually powerful story about hope andconnection.

From the initial creative concept to the flawless execution, we delivered a captivating experience where every detail was spot -on and the audience was fully immersed in the story.

A spectacular show featuring dance, light, and video

Gymmax Dance put on a spectacular show on Dendermonde’s Grote Markt, with City Hall as the backdrop. “We featured fourteen dancers, with custom choreography set to music provided by the young Dendermonde composer Koen Janssen,” says choreographer Danny Verneirt, the driving force behind the event. “All of this was accompanied by a unique sound and light show projected onto the facades of City Hall.”

Love, Hope, Friendship, Freedom

“A difficult year marked by the pandemic inspired this project. I believe we must continue to hold onto hope, which is why the show was titled ‘Lights of Hope.’ After a dark period, there can be light again.” The show was built around the themes of “Love, Hope, Friendship, Freedom.”
